the sunday showdown!
when i was doing the earlier "swept away" post, as well as the "hallelujah" post, i thought it might be fun to make it a regular thing to put up a few different versions/remixes of the same song. the sunday showdown will pit two different takes on the same song in a one-on-one battle to the DEATH!
...i may have gotten a little out of control there. there will be no death- just two awesome versions of the same song. i encourage you to choose your favorite and explain why in the comments. woohoo!
my buddy aaron has been getting me into some radiohead lately. "creep" is probably the song i've listened to the most. honestly, and this is so lame, but i first heard this song in the trailer of the facebook movie. oh well. i've since gotten really into the original radiohead version, too.
i really like both of them. i like the grungy sound of the original, and i like the cleanliness and ethereal mood of the choir version. i don't wanna go into too much detail about my thoughts, because i'd rather hear yours!
(there's a little grown up language in this song- fair warning)

Original wins for me...i hadn't heard the other version until now and i like the harmony but it kind of reminded me of something snl would do in a skit. :)
I like it, but it's not great chili-eating music so I find myself conflicted.
no one can top the original, and hearing a choir sing this song was just kind of weird. Love the new feature, keep em coming!
