i've really been into simple tunes lately. there's nothing quite like some thoughtful lyrics set to a beautiful guitar accompaniment. it's a genre that seems to never go out of style, a classic.
"bright eyes" is a love song- a beautiful, sincere love song. i've only known this song for a few months, but it's gotten a lot of play time in my car, where i do the bulk of my listening. i only just now watched the music video, which i think you guys will really enjoy. there are some really special moments in there.
"yours is the first face that i saw/i think i was blind before i met you"
isn't that a great point of a relationship? the stage where you can't seem to do anything except stare into each others' eyes and say beautiful things to one another? now, i'm too cynical to actually believe in something as cheesy as love at first sight, but it is a nice thought from time to time. i've said it before, but one of my favorite things about music is the escape from normality. i love to turn this song on, smile, and sing the beautiful words:
"maybe this time is different/i mean i really think you like me"
take time to enjoy the beauty that constantly surrounds us. roll your windows down, breathe in the fresh air, and admire the fall colors. listen to beautiful music, and sing to the ones you love. and, as always,

These are the best songs - geat guitar and lyrics you can understand!! The video is cool. I feel kinda bad for the funny lookin' guy who is alone - maybe his partner is running the video :-)
