system of a down - bounce

boy, today has been a long day.  i didn't sleep very much at all last night and had lots to do today.  lots of fun stuff, actually, but lots of stuff nonetheless.  i'm afraid i've been sorta zombie walking all day.  oh well, we all have slow days now and again.

this song certainly snapped me out of it.

these guys are crazy and weird and awesome.  i have no idea what the lyrics mean and i don't really care.  sometimes i listen to it and laugh, but mostly i listen and start screaming along with serj.

i have a lot of respect for system of a down.  they're all really great at what they do.  serj is a crazy awesome singer/screamer, the guitarist kills it, the bassist is sick, and the drummer is ridiculous.  they play some pretty complex rhythmic figures in a lot of their songs and they're always so tight.  it's tough to make music sound really clean, especially something as heavy and layered as their music, and they always pull it off.  bravo!

stressed out at all lately?  crank up some s.o.a.d. and scream your way back to equilibrium.
