new camera!

howdy, folks.

introducing the OTHER part of my blog: photography!

if you noticed, i changed the description of the blog when i moved from tumblr from "daily music recommendations" to "daily media recommendations."  from time to time, i'll have a post with some pictures now that i just acquired a wonderful dslr.

today's pictures: funny signs, stickers, and "faces" around evanston.

my best friend, kritter kris, and i always exchange pictures of "faces" in everyday objects.  saw this one today and immediately started chuckling.

and a good day to you, as well, my good sir!

is there such thing as silly graffiti?  if so, this is a great example!

haven't seen any of the advertised flying pedestrians during my years here...

robot panda?  aww yeah.

hope you guys enjoy these pictures!  like i said, i just got the camera, so i have a whole lot to learn.  either way, i think the content of these pictures, regardless of their technical level, is worth seeing.

take time to let your eye be drawn to all sorts of stuff.  you never know what you might see!
