music log: 1.9.12

howdy, loyal readers.  thought i might try something different today.

i listen to a lot of music every day.  it's rare for me to be at home without some music playing (or something playing on netflix).  here's a bit of what i listened to/played today.

-while doing dishes/making waffles: pokémon battle music
-in operetta class: offenbach's "orpheus in the underworld"
-walking to my car: that sick bastion track i posted yesterday
-in brass ensemble: a beautiful bruckner motet
-in orchestra rehearsal: mahler's incredible 1st movement of his 3rd symphony
-driving back home: a new track a friend recommended
-driving to the civic concert highlights: LUDAmore LUDA, and a cool cover i'd never heard
-the centerpiece of the civic show: rachmaninoff's intense "symphonic dances"
-drive back home highlights: modest mouserufus' hallelujah, and beautiful billie

this probably isn't half of what i listened to today.  do you have music going all day, too?  it's amazing how much information we process simultaneously.

don't forget to stop and listen to the world! :)  feel free to make a mini music log of your own in the comments!

enjoy,

-jglmnk

LOVED your music list! I could make a list of my own, but i can't remember all the names of the songs and the artists. I just know it's really, really a mix...I always think that anyone looking at my music collection would think I'm a bit weird. I think I would seriously DIE without music! :)
