i love songs like this.
certain songs are just better suited for day or night. this is definitely a night time song. nothing is rushed. she sounds like she could almost be whispering. the guitar is soft and slow. the lowest notes of the guitar are so warm.
it makes me feel drunk. the guitar vibrato is almost hypnotic.
i think i mentioned this before, but plain language always sounds so honest to me. this is especially true when childish words, like the onomatopoeia “bang bang,” are used. amazing.
that wobbly, woozy last chord? couldn’t have been a more perfect ending.
